I retired the old 13th Dream Entertainment website today and will begin, finally, to post all news updates, photos, etc. here on our old/new blog. I posted the following "status" on my Facebook page yesterday:
35 years ago today the movie opened that made me want to make movies -- just like it did for so many of my generation. That movie of course was STAR WARS. It opened May 25th, 1977. I was 7 years old. This year we will get the official prequel to the movie that made me want to make horror movies. That one, ALIEN, opened 33 years ago today - May 25th, 1979. I was 9 years old. This year, 2012, marks 20 years from when I finished my first and only feature length horror movie so far. For better or worse DARKNESS was the first real result from the impact those two films had on my young mind. Never f-ing mind how old I was then or am now -- I think it's time to make another movie.
In other words we've got a lot of new projects in the works so stand by!

Leif, your a hero of mine. Darkness is one of my all time favorite Horror movies! Yourself and many others like George Romero and Sam Raimi for insatance,has proved time,and time again that independent Horror is the best! Thankyou,sincerely- Shawn Freeman
